CGMC Policy Committees meet each fall to update the organization's policy positions for the upcoming legislative session. The policy positions drafted by each committee are reviewed and approved by CGMC membership at the annual Fall Conference each year. Joining a CGMC Policy Committee is a great way to get involved with our advocacy and learn more about the issues that are most important to you and your community.
Policy Committee volunteers will receive additional information from a CGMC lobbyist, who will work with the committee to set a time and date for a virtually meeting. Policy Committees typically meet once each year unless additional discussion is needed.
